| Mitsubishi´s
P-68U monochrome video printer is designed for professional use.
It excels in applications as varied as opthalmic imaging, DNA gel documentation,
and computer graphics thanks to its broad array of inputs and automatic
scanning capacity.
The P-68U delivers
images in as little as 14 seconds with resolution up to 640 x 480 dots
per image (162 dots per inch). Contrast is crisp and precise because
the P-68U produces 256 shades of gray.
The P-68U is
an extremely versatile printer, designed to work with most video sources.
It automatically identifies and locks onto horizontal scanning rates from
15 kHz to 35 kHz and vertical scanning rates from 45 Hz to 80 Hz.
It will accept video input from composite, and analog to TTL RGB sources,
as well as from a personal computer via the Centronics parallel port.
Professional
Features
The P-68U
automatically loads printer paper and cuts it at the end of the print but
still gives you the flexibility to cut the sheet manually. A monitor
output lets you preview the image before it´s printed, saving time
and print paper. A built-in character generator lets you print an
80-character message below the image area of each print. The P-68U
offers a wide variety of print styles as well, including positive/negative
image reversal, and mirror image printing.
